CARDIO 101 Workshop for Saturday, January 13, 2024
Cardio training, also called “cardiovascular training” or “cardio-respiratory training,” involves exercise that is focused on improving the function of the heart, lungs and all the ‘systems’ involved in transporting blood and oxygen through and to the body’s tissues!
The purpose of this event is to educate about Cardio Training you will learn:
- How your cardio systems function
- How your body responds to cardio exercise
- About the Principles of Cardio-based training
- About the numerous physical, mental, and emotional benefits of cardio training
- About Steady-State and Interval cardio training methods and benefits
- About various cardio training methods (Circuit, Circuit with Resistance, HIIT, and more!)
This workshop will help you “Train Smarter, Not Harder!”
After the educational segment of this event, we will move into the 60-Day Cardio Challenge Kick-Off!
