C4-A-R-B is an acronym for:
C4 – there are 4 sub-components for this:
- Coordination – learn/practice various upper and/or lower body movement combinations.
- Cognitive function - brain function is improved through specific drills.
- Core function – improved by using various types of loads and foot position changes with upper body movement patterns.
- Cardio - elevates heart rate as the movements are “mastered”.
A – Agility - improve the ability to change direction quickly.
R – Reaction Time - the time between a stimulus (cue) and the desired movement is decreased.
B – Balance – enhanced by manipulating variables that impact static and dynamic balance.
